Floral tribute to Damien Hirst
Palazzo Vecchio Florence preview Skull+Rose Collection, 2011 february-june.
On the occasion of the exhibition “Damien Hirst For the Love of God” in Florence (February-June 2011), Lella Zambrini presented for Contemporary Art Bookstore, her new collection “Skull + Rose”, together with the current “Because a rose is a rose”.
The skull and the rose, explicit signs to represent that continuous and inexhaustible cycle of life and death, flesh and spirit, sacred and profane, declaring the dualism, the opposit, far from the silence.

Il teschio e la rosa, segni non riservati, per rappresentare quel ciclo continuo ed inesauribile di vita-morte, carne-spirito, sacro-profano, per dichiarare il doppio, l’opposto, lontano dal silenzio.
